Product Marketing Leader
Access Development is looking for an A Player to lead and motivate our exceptional Product Marketing team. You would be leading a highly dynamic team that produces both B2B and B2C marketing materials. At Access, the Product Marketing team works cross functionally with Product, Business Intelligence, Sales, Customer Support and Partnership Marketing to drive adoption and engagement of our product.
Overall, you’ll be leveraging both market insights and internal metrics to create messaging, content and go-to-market plans. On the B2C side, you’ll be responsible for the creation and execution of marketing strategies to accelerate our growth trajectory through our primary marketing channels of email and SMS. On the B2B side, you’ll create content that supports our client’s marketing efforts.
This position is located in our Salt Lake City office. This is not a remote position, but we do have a hybrid remote policy. Tuesdays and Thursdays, everyone is in the office. The rest of the week, we currently have the option to work remotely.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, mentorship and motivation for a group of 5 employees including a Marketing Project Manager, Product Marketing Specialist, Designer, and Email Marketing Manager and Specialist.
- Drive both the strategy and execution across the customer and client lifecycle.
- Become a subject matter expert on our product and features and turn that expertise into creating compelling content for our end users.
- Create, develop and test effective email and SMS campaigns to drive customer usage of our platform.
- Use both your creative and analytical skills to enhance our marketing programs.
- Create strategies to educate our clients on our products/features and create content so they can in turn market their programs successfully.
- Identify target customer segments and develop positioning and messaging to appeal to those audiences.
- Work openly and collaboratively with cross functional teams.
- Track and analyze campaign performance and make recommendations for improvements.
- Determine product marketing priorities and manage projects from end to end leveraging your team.
- Monitor industry and marketing trends to stay abreast of the latest developments.
- Success in this position is measured against business metrics (OKRs) as well as your ability to lead your team and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent.
- 6 to 8 years of business experience with at least 3-5 years in product marketing and 2-3 years of managing a team.
- Demonstrated experience in content writing, developing positioning and messaging and go-to-market strategies.
- Heavy experience in email marketing strategy and tactics from email campaign creation, writing high-converting email content, working with a designer, and testing, modifying and tracking campaign performance.
- Nice to have – SMS marketing experience.
- Ability to leverage both your creative and analytical skills to track and monitor what’s working in our campaigns and what should be updated to maximize performance.
- Talented writer who can craft compelling messages to engage audiences.
- Great communication skills with the ability to present in front of executives, clients and prospects.
- Ability to execute on multiple projects with tight deadlines while prioritizing the work to make the most impact on OKRs.
- Equally comfortable thinking strategically about what’s next while still ensuring the next campaign is getting out the door.
- Proven management skills – hiring, managing, coaching, motivating and rewarding employees.
