We are seeking an experienced, Product Management leader to help us accomplish our mission. This role will drive our product creation process from insight to execution, relying on a strong instinct for product and a passion for consumers and our client organizations. Our candidate is deeply experienced in the product creation / product management / product merchant functions and is able to articulate, develop and execute through a collaborative process with both internal and external constituents. They have a team first mentality, innate curiosity, and strong communication skills.
Access Development is the best-kept software secret in the Wasatch Front. This position is based in our Salt Lake City office.
ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role requires a motivated self-starter who can hit the ground running, quickly taking on tasks, and applying past experience to overcome challenges. Specifically, this would include:
Working closely with a cross functional product team to lead the definition and execution of Access products from insights to execution
Developing the company Product Strategy and work cross functionally with our commercial team to execute across our Enterprise, Perks, and Transactional business segments
Playing a lead role in strategy and execution of all product development projects for the company
Personally managing one or more products for the company
Driving product evolution based on research/testing/customer feedback that ultimately transforms MVPs into profitable lines of business
Boosting customer satisfaction by relentlessly finding ways to add product value
Efficiently and effectively collaborating with internal stakeholders and our clients to ensure their needs are met
Leveraging industry knowledge and understanding of technological and economic trends to drive product performance
Identifying and monitoring KPIs to fully optimize the customer experience
Provide downstream and upstream partners key information to help them execute their roles on time and efficiently
Work with data and analytics to build metrics to ensure the strategy stays relevant to the changing marketplace
Leading and mentoring a small talented product team
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:
5+ years of technology business analysis, program, or product management experience with primary focus on improving usability & user satisfaction, increasing usage and boosting conversion rates; experience with mobile technology a plus
Bachelor’s degree in CS, Marketing, Business or equivalent, plus a history of continuous, relevant learning through reading, seminars or professional organizations
Able to operate at the intersection of art and science with the ability to work from product design to data analysis
Demonstrable broad, high-level understanding of current web & mobile app development technologies and how they can be applied to meet product and customer requirements with an understanding of analytics, reporting, tracking
History of clearly and concisely documenting product requirements, artifacts and features (including Market Requirement Documents (MRDs), Product Requirement Documents (PRDs)), and the ability to do so in accordance with established standards
High degree of communication skills (both verbal & written); strong people-centric demeanor
Strong teamwork, decision-making, documentation, and analytical skills
Experience in Online Travel Agency (OTA) products and travel in general is a plus.
Experience and affinity for UX/UI design and customer experience is a plus.
