Travel Call Confirmation Representative

The world's largest private discount and loyalty network has immediate opportunities in Salt Lake City for a Part-Time Travel Call Confirmation Representative that works with our Member Services Team.  This position works Monday through Friday.  Shifts are preferably between normal business hours. Minimum of 4 hours per day, 20 hours per week.

Mission of the Role:  Confirming hotel reservations booked by members through our travel platform.  This position plays a vital role in creating member loyalty, driving usage of Access discounts and websites. 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Makes calls out to hotels that have been booked by members to confirm that the reservation is booked and that there is indications of prepayment, confirms room type for special reservations.
  • Creates cases in Salesforce if the hotel won't allow confirmation due to policy.
  • Creates cases in Salesforce if the hotel doesn't see the reservation of prepay. 
  • Creates cases in Salesforce if there is any indication of an issue or problem from the hotel when confirming reservations.
  • Coordinates with other call confirmers and superviros to confirm day of month confirmations are being made.
  • Assist with special projects if needed.

 

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma, or equivalent required; college education preferred.
  • Experience in customer service preferred.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish/English a plus, but not required
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet required; experience using databases and web-based CRM applications a plus.
  • Strong telephone, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of loyalty programs a big plus.
